Despite her rather explicit passion for writing/ poetry and visual art, Tami took a 4 year degree in Education. On completion of her degree she taught at a High School and tutored 1st year students for only 2 yrs and fate forced her to follow her paternal strong passion of creativity, art and business.
Through all those years she mastered the art of leadership, management and eye for innovation through various roles as CFO, CEO, MD and Consultant of different companies. 15 years later, all the hard work paid off when she established what was to be the First Web based Interactive and Transactional TV Network in South Africa.
Little did she know that what has started as just a mere dream and humble research would attract attention of Global players in the field of Education and Entertainment and lead to the pioneering of the FIRST Broadcasting Network in the World to use multi-lingual text/ voice translation system to broadcast in over 50 languages in real time even before its official launch.
Inbetwixt her career, she worked for (SANBI) South African National Biodiversity Institute, this is where her love for protecting and preserving nature was nurtured.
